Chitra Valiyaparambil is an architect and psychology enthusiast with a diverse skill set shaped by both fields. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from TKM College of Engineering and has more than six years of experience in architectural design, leading her own practice, ‘The Design Pursuit’, Her professional journey includes working as an intern at Techno Architecture in Bangalore, an architect at Forms Builders in Thrissur, and contributing to the KSINC project wing in the government sector.
In addition to her architectural work, Chitra earned a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Bharathiyar University SDE, where she delved into how psychology influences design. She also holds a Diploma in Yoga Teacher Training from SRC Community College and has recently expanded her expertise into UX Design through Coursera, blending user-centered principles with her architectural practice.
Her combined knowledge of design, psychology, and holistic wellness allows her to create spaces that are not only functional but also supportive of mental well-being and creativity. She remains committed to advocating for mental health awareness within the design community, merging her expertise to foster environments where both people and ideas can thrive.
