Sherin is an enthusiastic architect with a combined experience of over 7 years in teaching and architectural practice. He is passionate about nature, spaces, and how people engage and interact with built and unbuilt environments.

Sherin graduated from TKM College of Engineering in 2012 and moved to Bangalore to join V.K Thyagarajan and Associates and worked there for 2 years. His interest in academics urged him to join K.S. School of Architecture in Bangalore for teaching undergrad students in 2015. It helped him engage with several well-known architects and academicians in the field, working on a pedagogy that revolved around culture, climate, and cost, which in turn augments his current architectural practice. To deepen his knowledge in architecture and  explore the global architecture trends, he moved to Europe to pursue Masters in Architecture and Urbanism at Architectural Institute in Prague in 2017.

He moved back to India in 2019 and co-founded Studio Tropical Being, an emerging practice in Kochi which promotes responsible architecture both socially and ecologically, and aims to create architecture that is contextually responsive, and sensitive to nature and its resources. He has continued teaching since his return and believes academics is a platform where one can inspire and get inspired. At seed Sherin seeks to facilitate and energize young minds to be passionate about architecture, its history and to nurture them for the future.
