Manu Jose, recipient of Kalasree Award by The Kerala Sangeeth Nataka Academy (2014) completed his graduation from School of Drama, Thrissur and post graduation from Pondicherry Central University in Theatre Acting.

He has worked with eminent theatre directors like Maya Tang Berg, Alaknanda Samarth, BV Karanth, Kavalam Narayana Panicker, Prof. S. Ramanujam, Jose Chiramel, Narippatta Raju etc. He has anchored numerous television shows – Chirakukal, Changathi Koottam, Mittayi Vandi, Oridathoridathu, Sath Kadha Sagaram and acted in movies like Rithu, Kadha Thudarunnu, Ayaalum Njanum Thammil, Gadhama, Njan etc with renowned film directors. He is the Premier Professional Live Storyteller in Kerala with around 500 live storytelling performances to his credit and has conducted more than 1000 workshops on Theatre and Life Skills for Students to Corporate houses. Manu has compiled ‘Mullakurumbarude Kalippattukal’, the first ever published collection of songs by Mullakurumba Tribal Community in Gudalur, Nilgiris.

He is the founder Director of Meandyou Performing Company and is the Creative Director of Ala, a Centre for Alternative Education and Culture at Mulanthuruthy, Ernakulam.
