On September 4th, 2024, SEED welcomed the new batch of incoming students for the academic batch 2024-29. The Induction Day was graced by Chief Guest Shri. PB Nooh, IAS, along with Adv. TS Rasheed (Chairman, APJ Abdul Kalam Educational and Charitable Trust) and other board members of the institution. The SEED Choir, under the skilled guidance of Rose Johnny, rendered a beautiful prayer and a welcome song for the incoming batch. The Induction Speech was delivered by Academic Chair Ar. Rajasekharan Menon, followed by the Lamp Lighting ceremony, which was held by the Chief Guest, Chairman, and Board members. An inspiring speech was delivered by the Chief Guest, Shri. PB Nooh IAS, and some insightful talks by the Board members encouraged the students and the parents alike. After this, the parents were engaged in conversation with the Foundation team, taught by Kunjan Garg, Balu Joseph, Chinchukumar S, Rahul Sukumaran, Krishna Salim, Samim Alam Beg, Roshni Kannan and Chitra V, while the new students, paired up with their student buddies from the senior batches, went on to explore and familiarise themselves with the campus. Mr. Ashok John Oommen also addressed the parents about his experiences as a parent of a SEED student and being part of the family. The Induction Day wrapped with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.
