Orientation 2024

Making Communities, SEEDing Workshop:
The first part of the Seeding Workshop Week was filled with fun activities that helped the students come out of their shells and engage with each other within and outside the campus.

Our first day began with creative icebreakers, where students drew and wrote about their partners, walked around campus blindfolded, and in a human chain formation. These activities helped them explore the space using their bodies and express themselves creatively. On the second day, the students were sent out to Muvattupuzha town to discover its historical and cultural significance. Here, they explored the local community and shared experiences with strangers. The day wrapped with a workshop by Upasana Yoga.
The next two days were planned towards the First Years, cooking up a humble feast for the SEED Student Community. This was overseen and guided by Ar. Fayiz Muhammad (Wellness Coach and Student Mentor @ SEED). On the first day, the students were sent to Muvattupuzha to earn money in as many creative ways as they could think of. They returned with varying degrees of accomplishment, and they then used this money to purchase the ingredients for the feast. This left the students with a newfound value for the mundane around them and made the food taste that much sweeter.
