Md Samim Alam Beg is a Kochi-based visual artist and sculptor who is originally from Murshidabad, India. In this hands-on sculpture workshop, students explored the creative potential of materials in expressing a unique visual language. By working directly with construction materials, participants delved into the interplay of light and shadow in shaping space and form.
The process emphasized materiality and craftsmanship, encouraging students to build and articulate ideas through tactile engagement. This immersive experience deepened their understanding of construction materials while also fostering a refined approach to visual expression in architectural practice.
